The Mr. Handsome and Miss Teen Trinidad and Tobago came off at the Center of Excellence, Macoya on Sunday 30th September, 2007. In its tenth year, this pageant, organized by the Vikash School of Dance, featured four young men and nine ladies vying for the titles of Mr. Handsome and Miss Teen Trinidad and Tobago. Mahindra Rampersad of the Vikash School of Dance expressed to Triniview.com that the pageant has been helpful in developing the confidence of the participants.
Starting at 6:45 p.m., the evening started with the delegates introducing themselves via pre-recorded DVD clips beamed onto a large white screen on the stage. To the beat of up-tempo music, the female delegates then streamed on stage in shiny red outfits, followed by the young male delegates who were dressed in khaki pants and white shirts. The males intermingled with the female delegates in a well-choreographed dance routine that flowed into live introductions by the delegates.
