I currently live in Spain and I actually had the opportunity to stand in the exact spot that Christopher Columbus sailed off from when he rediscovered Trinidad. Believe it or not alot of Spaniards are familar with Trinidad and Tobago.

In 1897 the extension of the railway in Arima opened Sangre Grande for large scale development.
