To the best of my recollection, The National Musuem, formerly Victoria Institute, preceded the Tennis Court.

I commented previously on this signage being a "Relic of Yesteryear" and somehow, I'm very curious about the Colonial Tennis Club's close proximity to the National Museum, Is it possible that the Museum, at one time, was part of the tennis club?
