View CommentsLouisSorry, but this was "Miss Gomez' " House. She was "The Registrar of Births and Deaths". She was related to the Grandsauls, who occupied two houses: one on the opposite corner and one at the bottom of the hill where it met King Street. The Gransol's house across the street was converted into 'Father College', St Joseph's College. The Registrar for Births and Deaths were at the Nurses house on the corner of Victoria and Abercromby St. when I lived in St Joseph from 1950 to 1963. this is a historic house, the family that owned the house is now burried in the cemetry behind the St Joseph church the name of the building was GranSol House
