Anyone remember nurse Fortune in this house in the 60's and 70's? She was the district nurse and the service she provided then (day and NIGHT, along with nurse Sandy, nurse Allen, nurse Martin and Dr.Bissessar) was a whole lot better than what we have to put up with now in the health center.

What a luxary to be on the outside looking in an seeing what should me fixed, and commenting on how disgusting things look. We're not there, but are paying taxes in someone elses country where in some areas things look no better. I wonder If the faithful Trinidadians who stayed home (either because they [b couldn't get a VISA, or could, but are truly the loyal ones) Do you think they give a care how the buildings look, or whether or not they should be restored, or if the government should spend money on restoration, when schools are falling apart, their children are being shot infront of their homes, in the school yards, and being kidnapped. When the price of a loaf of bread is 6# what you pay for yours, the price of saltfish costs a kings ransome. Do you think they care about a building? Put's things in perspective doesn't it!

We agree the country isn't poor , so can I ask what are we doing out here?? And why isn't the wealth being distributed better than it is ? Forget it Cheryl I think I just answered my own question .... or part anyway .
