I lived about 3 houses across from your Grandparents. Our front blacony faces their house and street.I did not know them personally, I was only 10 when they moved into the house 1970's. I lived there for the first fourteen years of my leife before I moved to Carenage. St James, the place that never sleeps. The home of Hosay,all the great steelbands of yesteryear....North Stars, Synphonets, Crossfire, Tropoli, Sun Valley and Blue Stars (now calle T & Tec Power stars). The home of the Dog roti; the home of Rialto theatre where I saw all the Tazan and old western movies,all the Dracula movies and all the serial movies. Eggie would close the shutters and you know the movie was about to start. St James, the home of the Jc bottling factory at the corner of Long Circular and the western main Road. The home of Din Din (opposite Calcutta street) and the barracks (not the police barracks but the tattered house at the corner of Calcutta street where "bounce" mother sold corn and also the Barnetts whose mother also sold corn.
