View CommentsJacquelineThis is actually an excellect view of upper St.James in the foreground. The yellow painted oversized building, which was commissioned by John Humphrey while in UNC government dominates Patna Street, even dwarfing Long Circular Mall in lower left. Federation Park abuts the wonderful Colonial buildings of the Police Barracks just alongside the old Pompeii Savannah now George V1 Park. The new buildings at the oval are well shown, with Tatail Bldg in upper left and other oversized construction mushrooming in the Gray/Elizabeth Streets vicinity. A real shame that wonderful architecture is being flatten for steel mausoleums of lesser character.
