Chinese President Xi Jinping Visits T&T

His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China paid a Sate Visit to Trinidad and Tobago during the period of May 31st to June 2nd, 2013. His Excellency Xi Jinping was accompanied by his wife, Her Excellency, Peng Liyuan.
The programme of events included a Courtesy Call on Their Excellencies Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona, President of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Mrs. Reema Carmona: Spousal Programme with Her Excellency Reema Carmona and Her Excellency Peng Liyua: Courtesy Call on the Honourable Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago at the Diplomatic Centre: Visit to the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago: Visit to the site of the Couva Children's Hospital for a plaque unveiling ceremony: State Banquet hosted by Their Excellencies, Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona and Mrs. Reema Carmona: Meeting with leaders of the Caribbean countries.
