Years ago i remember living next to a house just like with two ladies there names were Da Costa Posted by Guest on Sun 28 May 2006 02:00:49 AM UTC LouisSharon has a good memory. This house, (minus the "burglar proofing"...that's another story) is at the corner of King and Nelson Streets. 99% sure of that..I used to live on King Street, 50 years and thousands of miles ago. Posted by Guest on Tue 30 May 2006 10:46:58 PM UTC This is old St Joseph, still look the same as i left it 38 years ago, still the old sleepy town thatTerry Jaye Posted by Guest on Sat 03 Jun 2006 06:37:57 AM UTC LouisSeems like Terry Jaye's comment didn't fit into the "Commenter's" box. Care to put the whole thing in the "Message" box this time, Terry? Posted by Guest on Sat 03 Jun 2006 08:31:59 AM UTC LatoyaI live in St.Joseph, where is this house located?...it's so beautiful... Posted by Guest on Mon 03 Jul 2006 02:32:39 PM UTC JudithThis house is on Albert St. and is west of the large cross on Calvary. It is Mr. Phoenix the shoemaker's house. I was in Trinidad for Carnival and a friend who still lives took me on a day tour of St. Joseph where we used to go for walks on Sundays especially after Station of the cross Posted by Guest on Fri 07 Jul 2006 01:22:30 AM UTC Old Saint JosephLook at picture 59 this house will be seen in the background. The caption says "Nelson Street" Posted by Guest on Fri 07 Jul 2006 01:47:50 AM UTC Joan Da Costa still lives there. This is from Judy who also lived on that stree....I was there in April of this year. Posted by Guest on Sat 08 Jul 2006 07:48:50 PM UTC LouisIt's at King and Nelson, right? If anyone knows Mano Marcellin ask him. His family lived very close to it. Thanks, Judy and Sharon for reminding me of the Da Costas. Anyone remembers "Valere's Parlour"? Posted by Guest on Sat 22 Jul 2006 09:01:18 AM UTC Michael Duberrythis house is at the corner of nelson and king streets, facing north Posted by Guest on Wed 06 Sep 2006 04:21:25 AM UTC LouisThanks for confriming my previous comment, Michael. By the way, I notice you were an altar boy, and knew Fr. Devenish...in those respects we have followed the same path, some years apart. I left long before Fr. Nicholson became Parish Priest. Posted by Guest on Thu 07 Sep 2006 08:51:20 AM UTC michael duberryvalare parlour and flemming parlour at the corner ..good old days Posted by Guest on Fri 20 Oct 2006 04:24:27 PM UTC sandyI hope Fr.Devenish did not touch you guys in a way you did not like. Posted by Guest on Sat 09 Dec 2006 08:57:09 PM UTC LouisSandy, if your reference to Fr. Devenish was meant to be a joke, it's pathetic. If meant to insinuate an allegation, you are way off-base. Sick, in fact. Posted by Guest on Thu 21 Dec 2006 07:45:20 AM UTC |
