Generation Next Calypso Tent Judges Night 2016
On Tuesday 19th January, 2016, the Generation Next Calypso Tent was visited by the National Calypso Monarch judging panel for the preliminary round of judging. A cast of about twelve participants vied for a place in the semi-final round of the competition. This event took place at the tent’s seasonal home base, National Union of Government and Federated Workers’ (NUGFW) building, Union Hall on Henry, Port of Spain. The show’s programme was hosted by Rohan ‘Fireball’ Richards. Music was provided by the tent’s resident band, Earl Knight and the Services Brass band and the NACC back-up singers. This tent is managed by the National Action Cultural Committee (NACC).
