Tribute to Cito Velasquez

Paying Respect at the Wake
Mr. Velasquez passed away on 8th April 2006, at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex. Cito was a master in the art of wire-bending. He was responsible for most of the changes that took place in the Fancy Sailor Mas, an area he dominated for many years. Cito spent many years building and designing his Mas from his Barataria home, a place where many of his friends and family would always remember.
